Part 200, financial statements, federal fund expenditures, prior funding, IRS tax-exempt status, and applicable IRS code section. It also asks about established personnel policies.<br /><br />B. Funds Management: This part assesses the organization’s accounting system (manual, automated, or combination), frequency of posting to the general ledger, the accuracy in tracking grant funds, budget vs. actual cost recording, employee time and effort reporting, knowledge of Federal Cost Principles, and methods for charging indirect costs.<br /><br />C. Internal Controls: This focuses on segregation of duties, check signing protocols, documentation support for accounting entries, matching funds, and employee timesheets, as well as compliance policies related to cost principles and grant terms.<br /><br />D. Procurement: This addresses procurement policies, such as codes of conduct, open competition for vendors, cost/price analysis for purchases, contract administration systems, and written procurement procedures.<br /><br />The final sections require contact information of the preparer, certification of report completeness and accuracy by signature, and space for comments or attachments. This comprehensive questionnaire ensures organizational accountability and alignment with federal/state requirements for grant management and financial stewardship.
