Phillip Escoriaza, Esq.

Phillip Escoriaza, a partner in Feldesman LLP’s Federal Grants and Health Law practice groups in Washington, D.C., counsels state and local governments, community health centers, colleges and universities, Head Start programs and other nonprofit and for-profit federal grantees on grant funding administrative requirements and strategies, cost allowability and allocation, audit resolution, and disputes with federal and local agency funders. He earned degrees from Princeton University and Yale Law School.

Tiffany Kesslar, Esq., CGMS

Tiffany Kesslar, Esq., CGMS, is a partner at The Bruman Group, PLLC. She advises clients regarding federal grants management and program compliance. She actively represents clients in the resolution of adverse audit findings and compliance. Kesslar regularly serves as a keynote speaker, conducts mock monitoring visits, and designs internal control reviews. Kesslar is the 2023 recipient of the NGMA Private Sector Impact Award. She serves as a vice-chair of the ABA Grant Law Committee.

Rachel Werner, MODERATOR

Rachel Werner is the Principal at MyFedTrainer, a nationally recognized provider of federal grants compliance training. She and her team have trained thousands of individuals and groups at conferences, through virtual webinars, and through MyFedTrainer courses on the critical components of grant compliance. She has a Certificate in Grants Management, is a certified Project Management Professional, is a Certified Grants Professional, and is a Grant Professionals Association Approved Trainer.
